Mayoress Mrs Tracy Vickers is aiming to raise £500 for the Mayors chosen Charity, Hull 4 Heroes and their GEO Military men’s talking group by running in the Great North Run.
Hull 4 Heroes set up their military talking group and chose to name this after George Geo Ellis, an ex-Yorkshire Regiment soldier who tragically took his own like in April 2021, just 24 years old. The GEO group helps currently serving and former service men talk amongst people who understand them.
The Great North Run is one of the most iconic and sought after half marathons taking place on September 11th, 2022. All donations received will enable Hull 4 Heroes to continue to support those that need it most #strongertogether. www.hull4heroes.org.uk
