Join the team on Wednesday’s 10:30am – 2nd November and 7th December for a friendly, sociable free photography walk around Barton’s Water’s Edge. The walk is suitable for all abilities and photography novices are welcomed! No need to book, just turn up with your cameras or mobile phone to capture the stunning scenery.

The Remembrance Day Parade and Services will take place on Sunday 13 November 2022
The order of the day is as follows:
Parade Assembles with Standards, outside The Assembly Rooms, Queen Street, Barton:
10.15 a.m – The Assembly Rooms, Queen Street
10.30 a.m – Depart Queen Street
10.50 a.m – Arrive at the War Memorial on Barrow Road
11.00 a.m – Silence observed
11.30 a.m – Service at St. Mary’s Church on Burgate
Standards will be laid in the Church and the names of the fallen read out.
Wreaths will be laid at the Memorial Service at The Cenotaph.

The Annual Barton Upon Humber Remembrance Day Parade and Service is to take place on Sunday 13 November 2022.
The Town Council has made application and been granted to temporarily close a section of Queen Street to High Street; High Street to Burgate; Burgate to Whitecross Street; Whitecross Street to Barrow Road (A1077) to Falkland Way, Barton-upon-Humber, to road traffic between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. to facilitate the Remembrance Day Parade/Service.
The Remembrance Day Parade will take the following route:
Proceeding from The Assembly Rooms located on Queen Street at 10.30 a.m. onto the High Street (between Queen Street and Burgate), Burgate, Whitecross Street (between Beck Hill and Barrow Road junction) and Barrow Road to the Cenotaph for 11.00 a.m. Then, the reverse route back concluding at 11.30 a.m.

The Barton Upon Humber Christmas Festival is taking place on Saturday 26th November 2022 from Midday – 18:00. If you wish to be involved in our Barton Upon Humber Town Council Christmas Festival this year by holding a market stall, please find a stall application form to download. Spaces are £20 per 3m x 3m space. We have a limited number of Gazebos available to hire.
Please download the complete Picnic in the Park events programme. These will be available on the day. The Picnic in the Park is an afternoon of free family fun entertainment organised by Barton Upon Humber Town Council. Performances will start at 12:00 with the Barton Community Band, and finish at 16:00.

Don’t forget, this Sunday 7th August is our annual Picnic in the Park, organised by the Barton Upon Humber Town Council. We have a fantastic line up from Midday until 4pm. Just bring a picnic and enjoy the free entertainment. Children’s Races will start at 2pm this year.
Thousands of free swimming sessions will be available for youngsters across North Lincolnshire for the whole six-week summer holiday. All five of the council-run pools, including Baysgarth Community Hub in Barton-upon-Humber, will open their doors from 25 July to 4 September – with free sessions available to all under 16s.
