Barton Upon Humber December 2nd Town Market
It’s the final Barton Town Market of 2023 on Saturday 2nd December. Come along to the Market Place and Butchery between 08:00 and 14:00 for your fresh local produce, sweet treats and local crafts.
We will return in 2024 with our first market being held on Saturday 3rd February.

Office Closure Thursday 23rd November 2023
The Town Council Office will be closed on Thursday 23rd November for one day and will be open on Friday 24th November as normal 9am until 1pm.

Remembrance Sunday Parade – 12 November 2023

The Annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service is to take place on Sunday 12 November 2023.

The Remembrance Day Parade will take the following route:
Proceeding from The Assembly Rooms located on Queen Street at 10.30 a.m. onto the High Street (between Queen Street and Burgate), Burgate, Whitecross Street (between Beck Hill and Barrow Road junction) and Barrow Road to the Cenotaph for 11.00 a.m. Then, the reverse route back concluding at 11.30 a.m.

The event is being held in the High Street, Queen Street, Kings Street and George Street from Midday until 18:00. Please submit Insurance Certificates and Risk Assessment documents with this application. You will be invoiced on receipt of your application form. New Bus Service 96 – Barton to Brigg

A new bus service started on Tuesday 2nd May. Service 96 operating between Barton and Brigg via South Ferriby, Horkstow, Saxby All Saints, Bonby, Worlaby, Elsham, Barnetby Top and Wrawby. Please refer to the Timetable.
May 6th HM Kings Coronation – Barton Town Market
It’s the monthly Barton Town Market on Saturday 6th May. Come along to the Market Place and Butchery between 08:00 and 13:30 for your fresh local produce, sweet treats and local crafts. Live entertainment will start from 09:30am with the Castledyke Primary School Children singing in the Butchery, followed by the Barton Town Community Band.
