Planning meeting Postponed

Barton Town Council’s Planning Meeting scheduled for Monday 12 August 2019 at 7pm in The Assembly Rooms has been cancelled due to the meeting not being quorate.  The meeting is re-scheduled for Monday 19 August 2019 at 6pm in The Assembly Rooms.  A new agenda will be published for this meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the sad death of John Oxley a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Parish Councillor for the Parish.

If by Tuesday, 30th July 2019 (14 days* after the date of this notice), a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at North Lincolnshire Council, Church Square House, 30-40 High Street, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 6NL, signed by TEN electors for the said Barton, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
The election will take place not later than Thursday, 3rd October 2019

The Power of Words Festival kicks off on Saturday 13th July 2019 at the newly renovated Baysgarth Leisure Centre/Library/Park.

We want to give Barton children and their families the first opportunity to participate in some exciting activities taking place on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th July 2019.
