The 11th day of the 11th month in 2022 marks the 104-year anniversary of the end of the World War One. Remembrance Day gives time for thoughts and prayers for loved ones and those who gave their lives in service of their country. Please come and join us.
The Barton Upon Humber Remembrance Day Parade and Services will take place on Sunday 13 November 2022
Standards will be laid in the Church and the names of the fallen read out and wreaths will be laid at the Memorial Service at The Cenotaph.
The order of the day is as follows:
Parade Assembles with Standards, outside The Assembly Rooms, Queen Street, Barton:
- The Assembly Rooms, Queen Street: 10.15 a.m.
- Depart Queen Street: 10.30 a.m.
- Arrive at the War Memorial on Barrow Road: 10.50 a.m.
- Silence observed: 11.00 a.m.
- Service at St. Mary’s Church on Burgate: 11.30 a.m.
